Seeking Young Authors’ Book Project Volunteers
This year, 826DC is working with a cohort of seventh-grade authors from Brookland Middle School to write a collection of on-the-ground reportage that will answer the question, “What does the world need to know about DC?”

Today was the first day of WHOSE GARDEN WAS THIS?, 826DC’s summer writing intensive all about conservation! Fifteen students in third through sixth grade and four trained volunteers joined us at the writing center to kick off the program.
