We’re assembling a group of writers, designers, and general magic-makers to think about the ways we can improve 826DC’s storefront (Tivoli’s Astounding Magic Supply Company), starting with our volunteer-created products and the visitor experience.

Registration is open to DC-based students ages 6 to 18. Priority enrollment is given to students whose families qualify for free-or-reduced meal plans and/or identify as English Language Learners.

Sometime after 10 a.m. on June 3, during a storytelling and bookmaking field trip, something amazing happened. Amidst soccer-playing characters with superpowers and a candyland setting, we exceeded our goal for the year and served our 5,000th student (!!!).
