K-12 Dive’s Kara Arundel recently covered the journey behind this year’s Young Authors’ Book Project (YABP)!
This was 826DC’s most ambitious YABP yet—a narrative poetry anthology written with the entire tenth grade at Phelps ACE High School, completed within a single school year.
“One of my favorite things about YABP is that students get to experience the publishing process from start to finish,” says Cristopher Lee, 826DC’s Associate Director of School Programs.
Finally finished, these students are now heading into their summer as published authors. You can find their book, Now I See with Open Eyes, at 826DC’s Tivoli’s Astounding Magic Supply Co. storefront.
