This month, donations to 826DC go twice as far!
The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation and our friends Amy and Peter Pastan are matching all gifts to 826DC, up to $20,000, between now and December 3rd, also known as “Giving Tuesday.”
With every dollar counting double, it’s a perfect time to show your support for 826DC and for quality writing education here in the District.
Here’s what your gift could do:
$25 could equip not one, but TWO students at our After-School Writing Lab with a week’s worth of writing supplies.
$50 could cover not one, but TWO months of metro fare to the schools we serve.
$100 could buy not one, but TWO months of printing supplies for our onsite bookbinding studio where, each year, hundreds of young people get published for the very first time.
$250 could fund not two, but FOUR 826DC field trips, where DC students work together and leave as published authors.
