Exciting news—826DC will be a featured organization at this year’s Library of Congress National Book Festival on Saturday, September 6th, 9 AM – 8 PM at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center!

What is the Library of Congress National Book Festival?
The Library of Congress National Book Festival is an annual celebration of books, writers, and readers, first created by Laura Bush and James H. Billington back in 2001. Hundreds of thousands of people attend the festival every year! This marks the 25th year of the event and we’re delighted to be involved.
You can check out the author lineup here and find event FAQs here.
Where can I find 826DC at the festival?
We’re running a storytelling workshop in the Workshop Space in Room 152 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM!
826DC will also have a booth in the Story District hall. Come say hello and write odes with us, inspired by real odes written by 826DC students.
