Writing Inside Out and Outside In

March 10 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Is there a difference between how you see yourself, and how others might see you? Is there a difference between how you experience an event, and how others might perceive that event from afar? What if you could answer these questions — that is, what if you could see through another person’s eyes — just by changing the way you write? This ninety minute workshop will help you do just that! By writing short pieces from the “inside out” (first-person voice) and “outside in” (third-person voice), you will learn how writing in different ways can magically change the way you and your reader see the world.

This workshop is intended for ages 10-16

Taught by Nora Lessersohn

Nora Lessersohn is a Writing Coach and College Consultant in Washington, D.C. She has degrees in Religion and Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University, and is currently working on book project about the unusual life and work of a man from Turkey who immigrated to the USA in the 1800s.
