The WAS (Writing A Speech) Workshop

May 26 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Have you ever felt nervous about preparing a speech for a wedding, funeral, graduation ceremony, award acceptance or political speech? Learn how to write a speech reflective of your personality, while addressing a specific audience. You will be challenged in this workshop, to write a speech that can move a nation like MLK, that can comfort an audience at a funeral and a memorable wedding speech the bride and groom will cherish forever! The March for Our Lives Parkland students are your ages and wrote inspirational, political and reflective speeches and SO CAN YOU!

This workshop is intended for ages 6-12

Taught by Pyroe’ Joseph

Pyroe’ is an Intelligence Analyst for the FBI and her primary duties are writing and briefing FBI executive management, as well as presenting instructional presentations. Unfortunately, because of her job her family appoints her to talk on every occasion no matter what. Her family does not care if she knows the person or if she is familiar with the subject – it doesn’t matter she must do it! Therefore, Pyroe’ would like to share her personal and professional experiences with speech writing.
