826DC’s Summer Program Featured on “News 4 Your Sunday”

826DC Executive Director Zachary Clark recently went on NBC Washington’s “News 4 Your Sunday” to talk about our upcoming summer writing program all about conservation!

You can watch the segment here:

The Program

WHOSE GARDEN WAS THIS? will run weekday mornings from July 15th through 26th. Anyone interested in registering a student should get in touch with Shayna, 826DC’s Special Projects Associate, as soon as possible.

As Zachary mentions in the segment, WHOSE GARDEN WAS THIS? is free for the students and their families. Your donations help us provide daily breakfast and snack, develop original STEM curriculum, arrange field trips, maintain our onsite bookbinding studio, stock up on supplies like paper and pencils, and more!

You can support us and this program by donating:

$60 to cover a week’s worth of the program for a local young person

$120 to fully cover a student’s participation in this program
